48 Year Old Wanting to Look Good in Tops my Whole Life - Dr Fernau and his staff were so wonderful. I had 3 prior consults and they couldn't compare to my consult with Dr Fernau. He is very intelligent and stresses patient safety and I felt immediately comfortable with the entire processs. They have state of the art 3 dimensional imaging to help choose the size and style of the implant. My consult was over an hour and I never felt rushed. I chose a 355 Sientra gummy bear implants and my results are perfect. I never took a pain pill after surgery. I was out of my garment in one week. No external sutures. They laser (free of charge) a 3 cm scar to make it disappear. The scars are in my natural breast crease and as I understand it Dr Fernau uses a Keller funnel to keep the scars so small. 52yo Looks 102 Yo - Pittsburgh, PA - I have had 2 micro needling followed by PRP (platelet rich plasma) application by Cindy Scozio at Accent on Body , the office of Dr. James Fernau, and I cannot believe my results. Cindy took extra time explaining the science behind the procedure and recommended a skin care regime that has left my skin soooooo amazing . I have scheduled another needling but continue to use the skin care and my skin has never looked so healthy. I cannot recommend Cindy enough and the results of a series of the needling. I recently went to Dr. Fernau for laser skin resurfacing. Because of aging , my skin wasn't so up-to-par. I've been looking for solutions such as different skin care items but nothing ever worked as well as I wanted it to. I was referred to Dr. Fernau by another plastic surgeon in 2009 to reduce the appearance of acne scars and a chickenpox scar. Since then I have had three procedures performed by Dr. Fernau, including the CO2 laser, and the results have been incredible. I have had multiple treatments, including microdermabrasion and facials, all performed by licensed aesthetician and certified laser technician, Cindy Scozio. When somebody decides to spend the money and put one’s trust in the hands of a person who will hopefully make an improvement in one’s appearance, and thus in one’s self confidence, the best thing to hear is that the practitioner, herself, has undergone these same procedures. I felt immediately comfortable when I first met Cindy at Dr. Fernau’s office. She is eager to answer any and all questions, and give details of her personal experience with the procedures. She never promised what she could not deliver (perfection where there were acne scars) but did promise significant improvement, which did actually result! She is skilled and knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I am never pressured to purchase more than I want, but I am provided with information about up-coming specials and packages routinely offered by the office. After living many hard man-years, my face was left showing large cratering pores and deep scars. Dr. fernau is the greatest! My dog bit me and took my lip almost the whole way off. I thought I would never look the same again. I went through 2 surgeries and he took a skin graph from behind my ear and placed it above my lip and fixed my face. I am undergoing laser treatments to get rid of the small scar on my face. It already looks like it never happened. It is truly amazing what this man can do, things I never thought were possible. Also, his staff is great. They are very friendly, fast and to the point. Nine months ago Dr Fernau performed a facelift and a forehead left and a neck left and eyelid surgery and my results are amazing. My friends tell me I look 15 years younger. He also performed laser resurfacing of my scars free of charge and you cannot see any scars on my face lift incisions. I am extremely impressed by his nurses and staff as they have treated me so well and answered all of my questions. Dr Fernau keeps up with the latest technology and I am going to have a NeoGraft no incision hair transplant performed by him and his staff. We found Dr. Fernau and his reviews and word of mouth were so good. I had terrible scars on my face, back and legs. He removed them and I cannot see any incision lines. It changed my life! I want to wear a bathing suit again. He also had me come in for free laser treatments which is why my scars are invisible. Nobody else in Pittsburgh offered this treatment. He is so professional and kind and gentle. I was never scared. His staff is so friendly and his office is beautiful. I noticed all of his awards and he offers the best of everything. I am so happy! I have been seeing Cindy Scozio for a year now, and since I have received microdermabrasion treatments regularly. While I instantly saw improvement for my acne, my red post-acne scars were still visible, so she recommended the sciton and fraxel lasers as treatment. I have had three of these treatments so far, and I am almost ready to finally be comfortable sans makeup. My friends and family say that my face "glows" now, and my boyfriend has noticed that I have more self confidence.
