My name is Sam. I'm 17 and I had the microderm procedure. Well, I had a lot of acne on my back and face. It was something that was kind of troubling me. I chose Cindy because she seemed to be pretty knowledgeable about what she does and she seemed like a trustworthy person. Well, it's made me a lot more comfortable with my back and face. Before I would be kind of nervous to go outside without my shirt on and now I think I'd be much more comfortable with that. My family and friends have been very supportive of the procedures. Actually, a lot of them are interested in it themselves with the results. They were very satisfied with them, as was I. If I was going to give advice to others who are considering having this done, I would tell them that it's really helpful and that it's definitely something that's worth your money.
That dermatologist recommended a bunch of other medicines or treatments and they didn't really work as well. This worked a lot better than the rest. Well, to recover from a procedure, there's not much damage or anything like that or bandages or anything. There's some redness and you can kind of feel like a little bit of tenderness in the areas that she went over if she goes over something really rough, but it takes like maybe an hour or so for it to get better, about 24 hours for all the redness to go away. I would definitely recommend Cindy and Dr. Fernau's staff to my family and friends. They're very nice people who are very positive. They're very helpful.
When you come in the door it's really nice and relaxed and they have the TV going for you and you go over to the counter. Yeah, Brittany the receptionist, she's very nice. She always has a smile on her face and she always makes you welcome as soon as you walk in the door. They remember your name and they're really just like nice, kind people. They make the atmosphere as well, the comfortable atmosphere that's already there. They help add to that and make it something noteworthy.
Well, when I first came in, I was very taken back by the decorations. It's a very like luxurious looking place, kind of like a renaissance-looking place. It looked very fancy and warm, welcoming environment and relaxing. They're definitely very accommodating if you have to switch an appointment around or something. They're always happy to help you out. I would like to add that this was a really helpful procedure and that I've appreciated how pleasant they were and how nice they were and it was really nice. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.
