Is permanent makeup really permanent?

Although the pigment for permanent makeup is permanently tattooed into the upper layer of your skin, as with any tattooing procedure, the color can fade over time. If the color fades, you can always have a touch-up procedure to maintain your results.

How long does a permanent makeup procedure take?

Depending on what procedure you’re having performed, a typical initial procedure can take about 2 – 3 hours. Your procedure might also be broken up into two sessions, with the second session shorter than the first. Touch-up procedures are much shorter and can take about an hour or less.

What if I don’t like my permanent makeup?

You should always keep in mind that this is a permanent procedure, be sure of your decision, and carefully work with your provider to develop a permanent makeup plan that meets your aesthetic goals. It can take some weeks for the treated area to heal and the true look and color to be apparent after a procedure.
