Hi, my name is Rachel. I'm 22 years old and I had breast enhancement surgery. I decided to get a boob job done because my breasts were really uneven and it made me feel really unconfident when I was around people and in the summer time as well, with bathing suits and everything.
I chose Dr. Fernau because my aunt and my mom came to him a couple years ago and his work was amazing. He's also a really well-known plastic surgeon in the area. The surgery changed my life just because I fell more confident now. I know that this summer I can wear bathing suits and not feel unconfident like how uneven my breasts were and be able to hang out with my friends and feel better about myself. My family and friends have definitely seen a dramatic increase in my confidence and also they really like my boobs and how everything has changed. I think they're happy with it.
To those who are thinking about it, I would say definitely get it done. I don't regret anything, even though it's only been three days since my surgery. I'm very happy with it and I wouldn't change a thing. The day of surgery I took my pre-op meds two weeks before, and then the day of my surgery I took a pain pill in the morning and some Versed and then I really don't remember much, 'cause then I went into surgery, but when I woke up I was in minimal pain. Other than that, I felt great and I was up moving that night and went out with my friends the next day.
The first thing after my surgery I slept pretty well because I was on pain pills. That was just the day of, and then the next day I felt great. I only took two to three pain pills and I was still doing stuff. I actually celebrated my birthday the next day, so I was up with my family and doing everything. And then that night I actually went to my boyfriend's and did stuff with my friends there. Since it's only been three days, I feel great and I haven't taken any pain pills today or anything. The only discomfort I really had was just my left breast and it's 'cause they had to do more work than on my right one.
Yes, I would definitely recommend plastic surgery to my friends and family and anybody that's considering it. Like why not change something you're unhappy with instead of being unhappy with it forever? Just that Dr. Fernau and his staff are amazing and the facility is really, really nice and they make you feel like you're at home when you're here. I would recommend Dr. Fernau.
