Had surgery preformed by Dr. Fernau 2 weeks ago to repair an indescribable scar that contained many adhesions. Initially he was not sure he was going to be able to do the procedure due to several complications that were involved. An MRI was done and he decided that he would take on my case. I just left his office and can’t believe what this amazing man was able to accomplish. He was able to free up skin that was adhering to my abdomen and revise a scar that has haunted me for 29 years. He is a true miracle worker and I wish I could leave him more than 5 stars. I will forever be thankful for what he was able to do for me. God bless for surgeons like him. Talented and the bedside manners that would make any mother proud. More

Dr. Fernau and his team EXCEEDED my expectations. After my consultation, I was fully aware of what would be done and exactly how it would be done. My pre-operation instructions were very clear and thorough, allowing for the safest and most comfortable outcome. On operation day, I felt so confident and safe because of how the doctor and his team treated me. My initial recovery period was textbook and I truly believe it’s because Dr. Fernau goes above and beyond with his protocol to ensure the most optimal result for his clients. I experienced very little pain and zero complications. My week one and two post-operative appointments went smoothly because of how experienced and close-knit the doctor and his team are. They are all extremely down-to-earth, fun, yet very professional individuals that deserve 10 stars! The most exciting part about this experience to date was cast removal day. I was sure that my nose would still be so swollen and odd looking, but it looked AMAZING, even at just two weeks after my operation. My face looks so good and he did such a beautiful job at keeping my nose proportional to my face while giving me the nose of my dreams. dr. Fernau and his staff are some of the most friendly caring people I’ve ever met. A bit anxious because I wanted so much work done that it was a very long procedure. I got my under arms Lipo and Lipo 360 peck bicep and tricep implants everything better than I had imagined, the outcome was amazing. I even had a lot of personal things going on and they were so empathetic and so helpful. If I wasn’t moving away, I would be back once a month for touchups on skin care. I had the best experience I could ask for going to Dr. Fernau and his team. I received a septoplasty / rhinoplasty and have results that far exceeded my expectations. Originally, I went in for the cosmetic benefit, but Dr. Fernau found that I had a deviated septum. I never expected the massive quality of life difference I received. Far less congestion, sinus pressure, abnormal drainage, things I dealt with daily that are long gone now. That along with my dream nose, the full makeover I spent years hoping for, I'm absolutely thrilled! I will recommend him every time I have the opportunity. More

Wonderful experience with Dr. Fernau and his team, Sheila, Ryan, Alexa and Sherry. I had decided for my birthday that I was going to gift myself some Botox! After doing as millennials do (i.e. going to Google and Reddit to research and find recommendations), I chose Dr. Fernau's office. I was not looking for the cheapest or closest option -- I wanted the best. I liked the idea of a facial plastic surgeon taking care of my Botox -- I didn't think I would be pressured to do more than I was comfortable, and I wanted natural results. From inquiry to scheduling to the actual appointment, everything was easy and the staff is so kind! Sheila performed my procedure, and she walked me through what to expect before, during, and after the procedure. I'm only two days post-procedure, and I can already tell a difference -- it's very subtle, I feel like I still completely look like me, but refreshed. 10/10 recommend a birthday gift to yourself of Botox, and 10/10 recommend seeing Sheila, Dr. Fernau, and team! I called Dr Fernau’s office for an emergency implant replacement after an unfortunate mammogram incident . My prior Dr from 21 years ago retired and Dr Fernau’s office immediately scheduled me right in. By the following Monday I was scheduled for surgery and could not be happier with the results. They replaced both implants and a fat transfer which now allows me to zip up those old jeans. An extra bonus! The nurses and staff are wonderful and they make you feel comfortable. Dr Fernau is an artist in his field. I highly recommend and cannot thank them all enough! More

I am one month post-op and I have truly never been happier. My septorhinoplasty experience was so much easier than I could have ever imagined. Dr Fernau and his staff have been absolutely wonderful! I came to him in a very desperate situation as I had experienced complications with a burn and subsequent problems with cortisone after a scar revision from a different doctor. I was looking for a doctor who was well versed in fat grafting. He ended up suggesting a less invasive route using laser procedures and filler. I have had laser procedures in the past; however, he REALLY knows what he is doing! My scar is BARELY noticeable now (and it only gets better each time). I went to Dr. Fernau for a septoplasty/ rhinoplasty exactly three weeks ago today. I cannot recommend him and his team enough! The whole process from beginning at the consultation to the latest check up has been a great experience. The surgery was painless and recovery was quick! Hey y’all! Just wanted to let y’all know how my experience was. I had the mastopexy producer done and lipo under my arms. My whole life Iv had big bulging fat under my arms and could never wear tank tops and such. My nose has bothered me since I was a young girl . Finally in my 20’s Dr Fernau did a rhinoplasty & septoplasty . It was the greatest feeling in the world to look in the mirror and not hate my nose. I loved it & my confidence was so much better. Later in my 40’s my daughter accidentally broke my nose and ruined my result. I was so upset because now I no longer liked getting my pictures taken and no longer felt confident. I tried just dealing with it since I was older but inside it really bothered me. I have been treating with Dr. Fernau since 2017. I had a botched deviated septum surgery by a different doctor in 2007 which left me with a nose that was twisting and collapsing. I did a lot of research and saw multiple doctors for consultation before choosing Dr. Fernau. He treated me the way you would take care of a member of your own family. He was so kind, caring and reassuring about what needed to be done. He is very accomplished and knowledgeable. Dr. Fernau had to rebuild my nose from scratch. I have had 4 surgeries and now I’m undergoing PRP to thicken the skin on my nose. Dr. Fernau told me that he wouldn’t stop until my nose was perfect. He has continued to keep his word. I am a complicated case and have had a few setbacks along the way. Other doctors would have abandoned me or never even attempted to help me, but not Dr. Fernau. Dr. Fernau most recently performed a septoplasty/rhinoplasty for me. I am so thrilled with the final result! My nose still looks like "me", but it is much more smooth and has a contoured look now, not to mention I can actually breathe now, too (thanks to the septoplasty). His work is absolute perfection! The surgery was smooth and my recovery was pain-free. I didn't even have to take any pain meds. This man is clearly a miracle worker! He is meticulous in his craft and strives for perfection. Wow wow wow!!!! I don't even know where to begin... Excellent bedside manner... Nurse Sheila...is amazing and I truly felt as if she was my best friend in this entire journey and she was there every step of the way from first consult and is always in reach when needed. She is truly a beautiful wonderful soul . Now let's talk about Dr. Fernau... I have done extensive research over the last two years and finally narrowed my search down to 3 doctors to consult and scheduled Dr. Fernau first... Needless to say I cancelled the other 2 consults on the spot!!! I fell in love with his amazing down to earth personality... He makes you feel you beautiful just the way you are and most important his strong confidence made me feel secure, safe, and excited to move forward ( btw I've read a few other reviews that referred to him as arrogant.. he is NOT arrogant at all!!! it's called CONFIDENCE people!!! that's what you should expect and require when selecting a surgeon) his experience, training, results, and track record speaks for itself.
