PrecisionTx is an Nd:YAG 1440 nm wavelength laser. The 1440 nm wavelength is highly absorbed by water and creates a photomechanical effect which causes micro bubbles at the fiber tip (cavitation effect). This results in bidirectional energy distribution and more focused targeting of tissue.
PrecisionTx treatments are minimally invasive and can be done in-office. These one-time, one-hour procedures make PrecisionTx ideal for patients who are seeking the best possible results with the least amount of downtime.
The results of PrecisionTx treatments in the lower face and neck continue to improve over time:
- Heat stimulated collagen production leads to skin thickening and tissue retraction
- A recent study demonstrated 29% increased skin thickness three months post treatment
- Minimal downtime
PrecisionTX coagulates and ablates soft tissue of the axillary glands to treat Hyperhidrosis, also known as excessive sweating. Precision TX is a one-time minimally invasive laser procedure that treats the source directly! As the sweat glands reside underneath your skin, it is no wonder why topical treatments don’t seem to get underarm sweating under control. Precision TX laser procedure goes right to the source, underneath the skin, to safely ablate the underarm sweat glands.

How does PrecisionTX work?
The treatment area is numbed and tiny incisions are made to fit a very small cannula with a laser fiber, about the size of the tip of a pen, underneath your skin. Thermally controlled laser energy is delivered to the treatment area to stimulate collagen production in the dermis.
How does PrecisionTX feel?
As the area is numbed with local anesthesia, there is minimal discomfort during the procedure. Like any other minimally invasive procedure, you may feel a light pressure during the treatment and some soreness afterwards, which will resolve rapidly. You will be able to return to your normal activities in a few days.
The treatment takes about one hour and it is performed in your doctor’s office. How often does the treatment need to be repeated? PrecisionTx is a one-time treatment and provides lasting results.
